My to-do list is shrinking rapidly, which makes me ooohh so happy.
Class yesterday was actually pretty fun, considering it's a three-hour class. Oy. I brought Chocolate Teddy Grahams and a water bottle to class with me. She let us go for about ten minutes to get snacks, so I whipped my supplies out and chomped on 'em through the end of class. Man, Teddy Grahams, though obviously designed to be fed to 4-yr-olds, are insanely addicting. They're one of my two staples for any road trip.
I actually whooshed into class today as the teacher was closing the door. Yeah. Good for me. Almost late on the second day of this class. Good job, Rachel.
Anyway, the class was good, as seems to be the pattern for that one. We watched part of a video on Shakespeare, produced by A&E, so that was entertaining and relaxing.
On the way home from class, I bought my first book for my Tuesday Novels American class--The Secret Life of Bees. Yeah.. woohoo. At least I got to go to Barnes & Noble, my favoritest bookstore. :) I then stopped at Cardinal Fitness (five minutes from my house) to get everything all aligned so I can work out there for my online "distance education" Physical Fitness class. The people there were nice in a very real way, so that was encouraging.
All in all, things seem to be working out fine. It still feels like I'm going to be going back to Texas in a week. The summer feels like it isn't over and that in a matter of days I'll be packing and on a plane. *sigh*
