happy father's day!

Well, good news. My bank, TCF sent some loan info, and it looks like the Sallie Mae loan might be the answer to my prayers. I should be able to qualify without a co-borrower, which would make my parents happy, but then again, my dad did mention that they'd be willing to be my co-borrowers if it meant lower interest and less fees and all that stuff. So, potential problem potentially solved. Apparently, my parents miraculously changed their opinions about student loans or something. Hip hip hooray!

Holy crap.. I'm getting a lot of random Google hits lately. Check it out:

  • photographers for church pictoral directories (Google)
  • caffeine headache (Search MSN)
  • what is a frappucino (Search MSN) .. from when I used to spell Frappuccino incorrectly
  • song "i'm going to wichita" (Search MSN)
  • lyrics for Alicia Keyes "Want it All" (Google)
  • estaban (Search MSN) .. that's the guitar-playing guy. I bought his guitar/video set off the TV. Correction, my mom bought it.
  • henna tattoos in wisconsin dells (Google)
  • lane anliker (Google) .. that's kinda sad, actually, because the one entry I mentioned his name in happens to be really really old. He worked with me on an English project, which we failed miserably, so I kinda alluded to that.
  • marian keyes abortion (UK Yahoo)
  • IMVironments of girls (Yahoo)
  • alicia keyes - some girls want diamond rings lyrics (Google)
  • the ranting swede (Yahoo)
  • some people want diamond rings keyes (Google) .. apparently the lyrics are pretty popular. Who knew?
  • eat quizno's subs cuz they are good for us (Yahoo) .. number one on that search!!
  • mary kate olson (Yahoo)
  • henna tattoo, wisconsin dells (Dogpile)
  • "some people want it all" + Alicia Keyes + lyrics (Google) .. wow, that's a shocker.
  • LOTR diaryland template (Yahoo)
  • banana toxic to pets (Search MSN) .. ok that's just bizarre.
  • For forty-eight hours I don't think that we left my hotel room (Search MSN) .. this was just too weird, so I did the search myself, and the words I have in common are "eight," "I," and "think."
But enought of that good fun.

Actually, I'm going to go watch a movie with my mom. I watched Under the Tuscan Sun with her yesterday. It was really good. We signed up for this plan at Blockbuster. For $30, you get a full month (starting whenever you sign up) of this way-cool deal. Basically, you can have any three movies out at a time. No due dates, no late fees, no exclusions. It's awesome, cuz I can rent movies that are a little bit of a risk (might be bad, might be great) and not worry. If it sucks, I can take it back the next day (or the same day, for that matter) and switch it out. Blockbuster, I love you.

Oh, I do have to mention the awesome gift I got my dad for Father's Day. He's been wanting this forever. See, his car is a craptacular Ford Escort. It came only with a radio and a tape player. The tape player began making these little clicking sounds about a year after purchase (bought in '99), but the tapes would still play. The clicking soon became whirring and louder clicking. These noises would occur regardless of whether or not a tape was in the player. Heck, the noises continued when the car was off. Finally, my mom put in a tape one day, hoping to turn up the volume and drown out the noises. It got stuck. Now, it makes the noises even louder and is constantly trying to eject the tape. Needless to say, my dad needs something besides radio. This new gadget works with a portable CD player (which my mom bought for him today) and basically lets you play CDs through FM radio. It's awesome. Thank you Circuit City for making my dad happy.

Well, enough of that. I'm off to watch that movie now. The end!
