Everyone keep the lovely Miss Claire in your thoughts and prayers as her nan is in the hospital with cancer.

My grandpa was once in the hospital for something-or-other, but he recovered quite quickly. I have never lost anyone close to me, so I cannot even begin to imagine how scary and sad it would be to be in her position. My heart goes out to her.

I can't really think of anything to post that wouldn't seem ridiculously petty in light of the moment. I think I'll just go curl up in a ball and think for a while.
