a spoonful of random...

i resolve.. to be indecisive

So, if there has ever been a day at work worth writing about, today was that day. I worked from 9:00am-4:00pm and was never without something to do. People, people everywhere!! The line went through half of the store! Mind you, the store isn't humongous, but it's big enough to hold too many people.

One lady yelled at me for her own stupidity, another lady threatened me that she would never ever order from us again, and another lady asked me oh.. say.. 40 questions. For the love of all things lovable, leave me alone!! So, I took a little longer than thirty minutes for lunch today. I didn't want to go back. In fact, the only thing that kept me from staying back in the employee's area was the fact that it's not really heated by anything. There is a little space heater that hangs from the ceiling. It hangs over the fridge, so the fridge doesn't get cold, I guess. Ha, I don't know. Oh, and one of the fluorescent lights gives enough heat to warm about four skin cells at a time. It's great fun.

Oh yes, the choir concert. Can't forget to mention the oh-so-glorious choir concert. Four words? Short, easy, crappy, short. That about covers it. Mr. Jeffrey (the old choir director, loved by all) didn't show up, the songs were embarassingly easy, and Ms. Scrutchings (the new choir director, loved by few) didn't talk at all between songs, so it felt like we rushed through everything. Song, clap, song, clap, song, me running to the piano, clap, song, song, song, me running to the choir, song, me running back to the piano, song.. and so on and so forth ad nauseum.

Hanging out with Cribbet, Shannon, Heidi, Tiffany (friend of Cribbet), Erik, and Erica was fun. We went to Coldstone, though not many people actually ate ice cream, and then to Starbucks. I felt like a traitor for not going to Caribou, but the Mocha was good nonetheless.

From here on out, I'm going to attempt not to update unless I put some thought into the content. I'm done with my reviewing frenzy anyway. Unless anybody else out there wants to surprise me with a horrible review.. stupid stupidheads.

Anyway, that's my newest resolution, though who knows how well I'll stick to it. Eh, it actually sounds rather boring. I mean, I save all the good stuff for lady---arwen.diaryland.com anyway. That's when I actually think about sentences before typing them... well, somewhat. I don't know. I'm just swamped with too many diaries and not enough time to spread equal amounts of coolness to all of them. How sad.

I also have resolved not to use "anyway" unless I absolutely have to starting this very second. I have my little comfort-words, or whatever you would call them, that I resort to when my head is not functioning at top quality. "Anyway" and "anywho" are a few of the words I unintentionally abuse in every entry.

Well then, I'm off to see the wizard. He and I will be watching his grand performance in LOTR tonight. Or maybe doing something for school like an essay or two or three.

You know what.. screw over the resolution about no longer updating. That's dumb. This is my diary-style kind of diary, and I don't really care about the content. I'll care about the content somewhere else.

So there. The end.

Update: The new design.. yup, it's very summery. Version 10 has commenced, whether you're ready or not. It most definitely is not your typical winter layout, but I needed something and I needed something fast. I'll get something more.. me and less girly up some other day. Today, this is me. This is my mood. Screw snow. I want flowers!! There ya go. More funness available at a theatre near you on December 17th!!
